This is a very high quality medium weight fabric (22 momme) 120 gsm (grams per square metre). It is a fairly smooth fabric with few slubs, similar in texture to Thai silk, that drapes beautifully; it is very versatile, especially suitable for bridalwear, evening gowns, formal wear and dresses.
It can be hand washed, using Woolite in cold water, but to keep silk looking its best, we would always recommend dry-cleaning.
