Raw silk or Dupion silk has a crisp texture and irreguar slubby weave.  It is particulary suitable for formal wear and also for soft furnishings. 

Silk is a natural fibre and variations and irregularities in the weave are characteristics of the fabric and are desirable, that is the nature of 100% silk fabric.

Please note:   I try to photograph the colours as accurately as possible but please be aware that shades may show differently on different computer monitors.  I am always happy to supply samples of fabrics so if you are looking for an exact colour match please let me know.
