100% pure charmeuse satin silk fabric remnants in a range of beautiful colours. Please note that all our 100% pure silk is exactly that - it contains no polyester, no rayon and no anything else!
Charmeuse silk - also called Satin silk - is made with a satin weave which is soft and supple and drapes beautifully. The front side of the fabric has a lustrous and reflective satin finish, the back has a duller, rougher finish.
Silk is a natural fibre, and variations and irregularities in the weave are characteristics of the fabric and are desirable, this is the nature of 100% silk fabric.
